Jewelry Care & Repair Policy

Paul Raymond pieces are crafted with natural gemstones, fine details, and considered materials. With mindful care, your jewelry can be worn beautifully for years to come.

Jewelry Care

Gemstone Jewelry

Natural gemstones are delicate by nature. Some stones may be sensitive to water, heat, pressure, and prolonged exposure to chemicals. To preserve their beauty, we recommend wiping your gemstone jewelry gently with a clean, soft cloth after every wear.

This helps remove traces of sweat, oil, dust, perfume, lotion, cream, and other products that may come into contact with the piece throughout the day.

Avoid washing your gemstone jewelry, unless specifically advised, as some stones may corrode, dull, crack, or become damaged with constant exposure to water. Gemstones may also break, scratch, or chip if dropped or handled without care.

Avoid extreme heat, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and harsh chemicals.

When not in use, store your Paul Raymond jewelry in its pouch or box to protect it from scratches, dust, moisture, and unnecessary movement.

Cord Jewelry

Cord bracelets are designed for everyday ease, but the thread or fabric should still be handled with care.

To clean the cord, gently wash the fabric portion only with a soft sponge, mild soap, and lukewarm water. Avoid soaking the entire piece for long periods, especially if it includes gemstones, metal accents, or charms.

After cleaning, pat dry with a soft cloth and allow the piece to dry completely before storing or wearing.

When not in use, store your Paul Raymond jewelry in its pouch or box.

Metal Jewelry

Plated Stainless Steel, Gold-Plated Brass, Gold-Plated Alloy, and Similar Finishes

Plated jewelry requires special care to preserve its finish.

To protect the plating, remove your jewelry before washing your hands, bathing, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or applying personal care products such as perfume, lotion, cream, makeup, hair products, or sunscreen.

Avoid contact with soaps, alcohol, saltwater, chlorine, cleaning agents, and other harsh substances, as these may cause the plating to fade, discolor, or wear over time.

After every wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft cloth to remove sweat, oil, and product residue. Do not use silver cleaning solutions, jewelry dips, polishing creams, or abrasive cloths, as these may damage the plating.

For earrings, always use the provided rubber or metal safety backs to help prevent loss.

When not in use, store your Paul Raymond jewelry in its pouch or box.

Sterling Silver Jewelry

Sterling silver is a precious metal that may naturally tarnish over time. This is normal and can be managed with proper care.

Remove your sterling silver jewelry before bathing, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or applying perfume, lotion, makeup, hair products, or other personal care products.

To clean, gently rub the piece with a clean, soft cloth in one direction. Avoid using tissue paper, paper towels, or rough fabrics, as these may cause fine scratches.

A silver cleaner may be used only on pure sterling silver pieces. Do not use silver cleaner on 14k gold-filled pieces, plated jewelry, gemstone-accented pieces, or mixed-material designs unless advised by our team.

While our sterling silver jewelry is made with quality materials, it may show signs of wear over time, especially with frequent use or improper care.

When not in use, store your Paul Raymond jewelry in its pouch or box.

14k Gold-Filled Jewelry

14k gold-filled jewelry is made to be more durable than standard gold-plated pieces, but it still benefits from mindful care.

To clean, gently wash with mild soap and water, rinse well, and dry completely with a soft cloth. Avoid jewelry dips, polishing solutions, and abrasive cleaners, as these may affect the finish.

To maintain its shine, avoid contact with perfume, lotion, makeup, hair products, cleaning agents, chlorine, saltwater, and other harsh substances.

Always remove your jewelry before swimming, exercising, bathing, or cleaning.

When not in use, store your Paul Raymond jewelry in its pouch or box.

Jewelry Repairs

Lifetime Complimentary Restringing for Stretch Bracelets and Rings

If the elastic thread of a Paul Raymond stretch bracelet or ring snaps during normal wear, we will restring the piece at no cost.

Kindly keep all loose beads, charms, and components and bring or send them back to us for restringing. If any beads, charms, or components are lost or damaged, the restringing remains complimentary, but replacement materials will be charged accordingly.

Due to the natural variation and limited availability of gemstones, exact replacements may not always be available. In such cases, our team will recommend the closest suitable option.

This policy does not cover damage caused by improper care, accidents, exposure to water or chemicals, tarnishing, plating wear, scratches, dents, lost pieces, or normal signs of use over time.
